You have a very useful website, and your research is a great help to many.
The 1897 map of Czernowitz makes me wonder if there is anything comparable for the village of Tereblecea (Tereblestie, Terebleche, Terebleshti, etc.) southeast of Czernowitz. That's where my grandparents were born. In 2007, I began systematically going through the microfilms of the old Orthodox parish records of Tereblecea, constructing family trees of my ancestors and cousins -- and of anyone who shared my ancestral surnames of Olar, Pascar, Toderiuc, Ciopei, etc. One thing that would help would be an old map that would enable me to put the various houses in Tereblecea into geographical context -- it might help me determine if certain same-surnamed families were likely related.

Personnellement né dans cette bonne ville de Czernowitz (Année 1933) mais parti depuis de longues années je vous remercie pour votre extraordinaire travail. La publication de ces données sont d'une valeur inestimable et elles m'ont permis de renouer avec un passé que j'ai pensé oublié à jamais...
